Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the Engineering backlog including collaborating with product management, researching backlog items, updating items, collecting requirements, feedback, etc and coming prepared to backlog refinement
- Conduct playbook reviews and SOAR design reviews as necessary to ensure that team members are mentored on design and development practices
- Responsible for working with leadership in recruiting efforts and hiring new talent for the SOAR team
- Work cross-functionally with other members and teams within the entire CYDERES organization on a professional level
- Help build healthy team relationships and team environment, mentoring team members to ensure they are meeting their professional and personal goals
- Help define and implement processes that ensure the team is effective and produces high-quality work
Education / Experience:

- Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Jira
- Software development experience
- Git and CI/CD tools (Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)
- Strong and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in challenging circumstances
- Experience with HTML, Python, Jinja
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Experience with agile (SCRUM) methodology
- Knowledge of professional software engineering/best practices for software dev life cycle, including code standards, reviews, build processes, testing, and operations
- Understanding of networking
- Understanding of cyber security technologies
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 4 years working in the development field
- At least 3 years working with cyber security tools and technologies
- At least 2 years working with SOAR platforms
